Yakim Parker was born second in a family of three – the only boy in the family until the age of fourteen. During his years in high school he participated in an original play called “Out by the Roots”. The show was part of a state-wide competition in Boston. Although they were eliminated due to favoritism, Yakim walked away with head high, winning an award for his roll as Cozmo. Since 1997, Yakim has been on stage in one form or another. Wheteher it be behind the scenes or on stage dancing, he is ready to perform. Look out for the album “Mosaic Mesh”, Parker’s first album, in the works since 2002.
